CPA FIRM TEACHES ORGANIZATIONS HOW TO RE-INVENT THEMSELVES IN ORDER TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL

Howard Cox

While in the midst of what analysts are now calling a recession, Somerset CPAs, a full-service certified public accounting and professional services firm in Indianapolis, launches a different type of consulting system.  This new program, called the Somerset CEO Series, will consist of alternating bi-monthly group and individual coaching sessions over a period of 20 months and will educate companies on how to re-invent their businesses and get themselves back on track to reaching their full potential.

Howard M. Cox, Director of Business Consulting at Somerset CPAs, explains that almost all businesses are, for the foreseeable future, in a "challenging business environment."  He also emphasizes that "this is in addition to the fact that many small to mid-sized companies were already struggling to adjust to the 21st Century's globally competitive environment."  Cox further details that the completion of the Somerset CEO Series will result in obtaining the tools necessary for fighting back against this combination of economic downturn and increased competition directly impacting businesses today.  "The goal of this series is for you to ultimately re-invent your organization into a virtual monopoly for your targeted customer rather than running the risk of becoming just another player in a dying commodity based, price driven marketplace," says Cox.  He adds that the Somerset CEO Series will help industry leaders get more from their work lives and positions them on a path to creating true happiness for themselves and all of the stakeholders invested in their businesses.

The Somerset CEO Series is structured into a unique format combining seminar series with executive coaching while delivering its content in a CEO roundtable format.  Cox explains, "this is the best of both worlds for its participants: one-on-one business consulting combined with the synergistic input from a group of peers."  While all participation is confidential and will remain within the group of participants, the unique approach to providing the ongoing open forum for the discussion of problems currently undermining today's businesses is what sets this seminar series apart from others.

The Somerset CEO Series is geared toward those with direct profit and loss accountability for individual businesses: industry leaders, CEOs, Presidents, Plant Managers, Division Managers, and those next in the successional line to fill these positions in the future.  Somerset CEO Series groups will be forming on an ongoing basis.  Somerset hopes to launch their initial series of 20 sessions beginning this May through December of 2009.  Upon the completion of the program, each participant will have created a comprehensive "playbook" for their business.  For more information or to apply for membership in the Somerset CEO Series, contact Howard Cox at 317.472.2167 or HCox@SomersetCPAs.com
